3 weeks old

Lincoln is 3 weeks old and some change. I can't believe how the time is flying. His cord fell off so he is able to get real baths now in his tubby and let me tell you he LOVES them. He cries when you take him out its funny. He went for his final jaundice follow up and of course it's all gone and the doctor weighed him and he weighs 9 pounds 5 ounces now....he is such a little man. He goes for his one month appointment on sept 8th and then he has his dreaded appt. on sept. 22nd where he will get all of his shots. I am NOT looking forward to that appointment at all. It's amazing how they can change in a matter of days, now the last 2 days he is tired but he fights falling asleep and you can so tell! Then when he finally goes to sleep, the minute you try to set him down he wakes up. He is alert a lot more often and for longer now and he is into all the lights in the house. We watched a baby Einstein dvd the other day and i held him to the screen and his eyes were goin crazy watching all of the colors on the tv it was funny. We have been getting him used to his baby bjorn cause now he doesnt like to sleep during the day so in order for me to get anything done around here I have to put him in that. We have been Blueberry pickin alot lately and he isnt too bad he hangs in his stroller and sleeps or listens to the outdoor noises but last time he got kinda fussy so im going to bring the bjorn next time and so if he does fuss at least he can go with me in there and I can still pick berries. Time is just flying by it seems. So sad to see it go but I know I have alot more baby time still to go and more changes to look forward to. Im already ready to have more. Being a mom is wonderful and I am lucky to have him cause he is a good boy and I just love snugglin with him at night and watchin him grow.
